Design and Test of Peanut Root-Disk Full-Feeding Longitudinal Axial Flow Pod-Picking Device

To improve the pod-picking efficiency of combine harvester for both peanut seedlings and peanuts, a longitudinal axial flow device is designed in this study. The fixation adjustment modes rod were determined. roller’s rotational speed, diameter, roller, effective rod-picking length, screw-feeding stirrer’s critical parameters determined by theoretical calculation. A combined design quadratic regression orthogonal rotation was achieved using Box-Behnken (BBD) response surface optimization analysis Design-Expert, with linear speed clearance between concave screen spacing rods as testing factors, picking rate crushing indicators. optimized are follows: roller 6.8 m/s, 28.5 mm, 18.60 mm. performances conventional full-feeding devices proposed root-disk investigated compared to clarify performance under parameters. results showed that rates 98.93 1.62%, respectively, which superior those devices. matching peanuts processed Field tests revealed 99.07 1.58%, meeting industry standards.
